This blend had previously been exclusively reserved for the heirs and successors of A.H. Riise, it was traditionally served at a gathering of the descendants of A.H.Riise once every five years. Similar to all other bottles with A.H. Riise on the label, this is a blend. A blend composed of some of the finest and oldest rums we can get our hands on. Both the bottle and its content are unique – sweet like the other A.H. Riise blends, but also very distinctive with a taste of dark spices and a hint of smoke. You will never doubt that it is an A.H. Riise Family Reserve that you have in your glass.

The little fish “Corynopoma RllSE” has become one of A.H. Riise’s best known discoveries. Albert Riise found the fish in Trinidad and named it in 1858. The small freshwater fish which is found in South America has today become a very popular aquarium fish. As a curiosity the little fish has twice made it to a stamp, here a 1966 stamp from Venezuela.
